How to cut the conveyor belt?

The method of cutting the conveyor belt depends on the type and material of the conveyor belt. The following are several methods of cutting the conveyor belt:
Hand cut. Use tools with higher hardness, such as chainsaws, hand saws, or pliers. Firstly, place the conveyor belt on the workbench and use a hammer or rubber hammer to strike the desired cutting area to level the surface. Then, select a suitable manual cutting tool and firmly clamp the area, and use force to cut along the predetermined direction.
Mechanical cutting. Use specialized cutting tools, such as electric or gas cutting machines. Place the conveyor belt in the designated position and clamp it in place, set the cutting length and shape, and turn on the cutting machine for cutting.
Thermal cutting. Suitable for thick conveyor belts, using high temperature for cutting. The blade needs to be heated to a certain temperature before cutting.
Regardless of the method used, it is important to pay attention to safety and avoid unnecessary losses during the cutting process. After cutting, if the conveyor belt is made of rubber material, a flame or hot air gun can be used to heat seal the cut to prevent edge cracking and enhance its strength.
