How to correctly install and maintain the belt of SMT SMT mounting machine

The SMT SMT mounting machine generally has the following belts:
Inner grinding toothed belt steel wire T-shaped track belt, head belt, motor belt, X-axis belt, Y-axis belt, RN axis synchronous belt: inlet and outlet plate transmission belt, synchronous belt inside the box: vacuum pump V-belt, CP33L transportation belt, CP40L transportation belt, CP45FV/NEO transportation belt. With R-axis belt, SM321 transportation belt, synchronous belt, Z-axis belt, JUKI2050 T-axis belt, width adjustment belt, conveyor belt.
How to install the SMT belt?
Whether replacing the belt or installing the belt on a new transmission device, it is recommended to follow the following steps.

  1. Turn off the power, remove the protective cover, and loosen the mounting bolts on the motor base to allow the motor to move back and forth.
  2. Move the motor to make the belt loose enough to easily remove it. Never use tools to sled SMT belts.
  3. Remove the old belt and check for any abnormal wear. Excessive wear may indicate problems in the design or maintenance of the transmission system.
  4. Choose a suitable belt replacement.
  5. Cleaning SMT belts and pulleys: Wipe the cloth with a small amount of non volatile liquid, do not soak it in cleaning agents or use cleaning agents to brush the belt, do not use sandpaper or sharp objects to scrape the belt. The belt must be kept dry before installation and use.
  6. A simple way to check for cracks or wear on the belt is to use a groove gauge. If there is excessive wear, the pulley must be replaced.
  7. Check if each SMT pulley is on the same flat surface.
  8. Check the symmetry, durability, and lubrication of other transmission components such as bearings and shaft sleeves.
  9. For transmission devices that use multiple SMT belts, all belts must be replaced at once. If only one belt is replaced on multiple belt transmission devices, the new belt may have the appropriate tension, but the remaining old belt will be too loose, and most of the power may be borne by this new belt, causing premature damage to the new belt.
  10. Tighten the center distance of the transmission device, rotate the driving wheel a few times by hand, and use a belt tension measuring instrument to check if the tension is appropriate.
  11. Tighten the assembly bolts of the motor to the specified torque.
  12. Replace the protective cover.
    SMT belts have extremely high requirements for conveyor belts, especially for anti-static properties. In the production and manufacturing process of electronic products, electrostatic discharge can change the characteristics of semiconductor devices, causing damage or unstable performance, resulting in final product damage or inability to function properly.
